I also noticed the resinators on the tail pipes, a tri power car possibly ??

I can clear this up... I just had my carbs rebuilt for the first time since the car was new (1965), I saved all the original parts that came off them. ALL 3 carbs were vented from the factory and...

My car is a one owner car and the alt is the one installed from the factory. All paperwork on anything done to this car was saved and there is no mention of ever changing the Alt and it looks like...

Just looked at my alt again. It is original to the car when new.
My car was ordered in July of 64 and delivered on Dec 11, 1964. The cowl tag is 12A
I did not remove the alt to look for ink...

RAII, the '65 strike started about a month after '65 production began. Apparently your GTO failed to get built before the strike began? The strike was settled within 38 days, walkout started Sept....

it is confirmed that my gas cap and rad cap are the original ones that came on my car when new in 1964. and my car is a 1965 model year.

Gas cap/Rad cap 1965 GTO

when I bought my GTO from the original owner he had put on a locking gas cap in 1964. for some reason over the years he changed the Rad cap to a 7lb. He thought the Rad cap was the original one But...

It was Dealer installed Am/FM 8-track..... Yes it did come with an AM radio so they used the original antenna that was on the car.
