That's why I prefer a shorter rod than the pontiac community thinks is ideal. I'd rather have a stable piston and lower the pin a touch. Helps with rock and is like coatings when it comes to power....

Started the year changing out gears from the 3.08 to a 3.42 which is the first time slip.

Second slip is from the pure stock muscle car drag races which I went to a 3.90 and a mandrel bent X pipe....
