I think years ago I picked up a couple of GM...
I think years ago I picked up a couple of GM brackets that fit on the back 2 bolts of the Q jet . I think one might still have a part Number on it . Up in the attic.

The brown wire is the signal for the tachometer...
The brown wire is the signal for the tachometer off of the coil negative. It has an inline fuse to protect the tachometer, I seem to remember it's a pretty low value like 2 amp.
