Hello all; new to the site. I have a ‘70 formula I’m restoring. The car did not originally have rally gauges but I’m switching to them. Got a set of gauges, had them restored completely and ready to install. Now I find that my new wiring harness won’t plug into the back of the gauge cluster (where it attaches to the printed circuit board). The slot in my gauge housing bag is too long (tall) for the clip to fit. Do I have the wrong housing or the wrong wiring harness? Or does one of the two have to be modified? I know 1970 was a one off year in some respects but this has got me scratching my head. Anybody been through this?
