i run the 1971 Pontiac T-37 with the 455 HO combination. I have asked you a few questions on classracer under FSA1673. I lost an engine the other year and put the accumulator on the new motor so it would not happen again. What PCV valves are you using, do you remove the guts of the valve? Do you have stock valve covers or aftermarket ones? I plan on trying what you said with creating a vacuum in the crankcase. Hope it helps cause now I am getting too much oil past the rings.
I Scott, I noticed your conversation about running an accumulator. Do you race NHRA stock? If so what car? I have a D/S 68 Firebird that im in the process of reworking. I'm planning to run an accumulator myself. I'm thinking about running it with an oil filter adapter. I wanted to be able to run my op guage in the top of the block.
