    I kinda like the 403. 400 hp is more than enough. I'm just afraid of getting ripped off big time. My local firebird club recommended a place but I don't want to go in totally ignorant of what I need and should spend.

    Well, all know that the 403 window blocks are a weak point, and about 400 or so HP is the limit. May want to consider switching to a true pontiac engine, you can go so much further with it. How do you feel about that?
