Mag2555 told me to contact you on a cam question. 1969 gto 400 turbo 3.55 still the small tires on it . I'm building a 461 stroker with butler ross bottom end, 8cc pistons, 87cc edelbrock heads getting some mild port work done. I would like to run a factory 1970 intake manifold and a 750 qjet. yes I might need a bigger carb. Milling and a valvejob after the porting on the heads will get the cc chambers to 79cc. quench will be .038 and static compression will be 10.75.1 . I just plugged a 73 in for dynamic and i am at 8.1 I have power brakes and would like a decent idle. I assume I cam use a more aggressive cam with rhodes lifters. My question is what camshaft would you suggest as a flat tappet? Mag 2555 says you have a cam program..? Sorry to bother and thanks for any help. heads are a 61579 and if you think the cast intake is a bad idea let me know . daily driver in summer and no track time at all. I plan on using ramm air 3 exhaust manifolds.
