Wow...that was close...Yeah I am also talking about the 70's...We sold it in 1985...Just wasn't the same place anymore...Our bay was one of the nicest in the area and the lake was so beautiful (for boating, water skiing and fishing)....I'll go have a look at the car..Take care...Robert

Mac's Marina, yes, I lived about 350 feet away from it. We were on Old Montreal Road across from Bertha's Gen Store. This was back in the 1970s. The wharf was just a skip away. Thanx, bigborehunter...I wasn't filming...it was one of the club owners...He was in a dark burgundy Chrysler 300 Hemi...I was part of the cars driving to the show...Lancaster? We used to have a cottage when we were kids right across Lancaster, near St. Anicet, on Lake St. Francis...Used to drive across alot...Even bought our Mercury outboard from a place called Mac's Marina (heard about him??)...Show us pics of you '72 GTO...:-)

Nice video Rob, I used to live south of Hawksebury in South Lancaster Village. Seeing the cars brought back great memories. My GTO is a red 72 455 hardtop. What car was doing the taping? It looks black and your avatar is a red car.

My name's David. I live in Montreal also. I just got a 69' Bird. The engine cranks but does not start. I'm looking for a Pontiac specialist in the Montreal area to help me out with the car.

My goal is to put it on the road as a good driver and built a strong 350 this winter. Either rebuilt the actual engine, or built one from scratch. I prefer the 350 for lower build cost and better fuel economy. A 400 or more is too much for my taste.

I tought I'd ask since we are both in the MTL area. You can find some information about my car in the 67-69 Firebird Tech.
