    I run a 4.400 stroke and have no clearance problems. I have seen a 4.75 stroke with aluminum rods. You just need to knotch the bottom of the bore for it to fit. You shouldnt have to do anything for a 4.500 stroke.

    Curt. No problem on the mains.I also have these FM bearings in -001 size,if you ever need the extra clearance. I think the Turbo car might respond well to a 3 speed trans. Keep me posted.

    Jim - DG does very good work - as far as new heads - it would depend on your application - and your budget -- btw - I grew up in Yakima - although some say I never grew up - good luck

    Curt, I live in Selah,WA and am looking at updating my Edel Hds. These hds were ported by Kaufffman and checked over and freshened by SD Perf. Who would U recommend for new heads. What about Dale/DG Machine? Any ideas?
