are you replacing the direct drum after having a failure, i re machine the splines in tube shaft and drum and make them one piece by diong this and using new bushings it will hold sprag square and not side load it, you could send me a good drum, tube shaft and i would install new bushings and respline for 50.00 bucks. thats what i had to do a long time ago and havent looked back, if you want to talk call me 816-896-5756

Thanks for taking the time to read and give info. I am on my 3rd. sprag this year and have had it! Trans shop builds many IHRA trans around the western NY area but for what ever reason this not working out for me.What did you have in mind?
