My Butler bracket worked great. Concerning the old bracket, do you just me the flat bar type arc that bolts to the top of the alternator? Oh, and no, I haven't gotten the factory gauge to work.

Hello. Beautiful car. I was following along with your alternator woes, and I was wondering if you ever got the factory charge gauge to read correctly? I am working on a 1926 Ford Model T roadster for my son with a 1962 tempest 4 cyl and noticed that you went with a butler kit to move your alternator. How do you like their system. I have been looking into it, and unfortunately I don't have enough room for their bracket. In the situation I'm in, I can only use a factory non-ac alt bracket.
