It's been a while but, back up and the GTO is back at the body shop and it's comming along really good. I will post pictures soon. The only thing that has stumped us is what to do with the rear light panel. We cant seem to find anyone who makes them. I Really don't want to put a nova one in! any advise?

hey pic 007a shows another view of the drivers side mount. The last guy put a olds motor in the car and hacked out the frame mounts and welded in the olds mounts. had to cut/grind then find the pontiac mounts.

    Hey,
I don't think the TA air cleaner bases will interchange. The GTO used a taller base. Others more knowledgable about the GTO will chime in I'm sure. I do happen to have a base from a '74, but someone had previously removed the snorkel(inlet) from it, so you would have to replace that if going back stock. It has some surface rust, but nothing heavy. I can send pic's if interested. I would let it go for 25.00 plus actual shipping. Anyhow, let me know if interested.

    Jon
