I'm pretty sure there are a number of guys on PY with 235/60-15's on front. Depends on the offset and health of the suspension. I do know that my brother has a 71 Cutlass convertible and he runs 15 X 7" front wheels with 245/60 T/A's and no rubbing. I've considered a set of 15 X 7's and 245's myself since 14" tires seem to be going away. Like you said, once the moneys paid the tires are yours.....
Hey Larry. Most of the pictures have it with 245/60-14's on 14 X 7's on the front and 255/60-15's on 15 X 8's on the rear. The picture on my "signature" is with that set-up.
Larry,
They are stock springs from advance auto parts in the front. PS / AC optioned. The rears are cargo coils I stole from my judge after buying 3 different sets from Advance. First set I bought were stock according to them but they only had 3 coils unlike 4 on the originals I pulled off .Plus it sat to low with them for my liking. The second set was a station wagon set. WAY too high for my liking.Third and last set I bought was 69 Chevelle 4 door. The parts guy let me peruse his parts book and I thought the the specs on the chevy would work. Well it sat perfect, until my family climbed into it to go somewhere and the rear fell to much for my tastes, after driving past store fronts looking at it in reflections. So out of frustration I robbed the CC501's out the judge and put the(first set) original replacement coils I purchased in it.
Hope this helps,
George
P.S. No rubbing but nothing bigger than 235/60/15 in the front or it will with the stance I have.
