I have a 65 GTO, original mtr long gone. I have a 72, casting #491988, 400 long block with 68 #16, D-port heads on it, screw in studs, guide plates 2.11/1.77 valves. I'm about done with frame off resto on the car and want to start on the engine which currently runs great but needs freshened. Already has steel crank 3.75 stroke, but have purchased eagle forged H beam rods 6.625, performer RPM intake, 750 dbl pumper, Harland sharp 1.5 roller rockers and quality tri-tube headers. My plan is to get a fluid damper next and cam kit. This is where you come in.... on the cam selection what recommendation do you think works best for me? Its a 4 speed car, with 3.23 gears, i do have plans for 3.73 gear soon, added pwr brakes so need some vacumn. Street car only but would like to be in 425 to 475 hp with 490 to 520 torque. Running 28" rear tires with 10" footprint. Any questions let me know. Thanks for listening

Hey Cliff...... Gregg Brindley here. I spoke with you back in July about my quadrajet carb. I have a 1977 GP with 461 stoked engine. When we last talked on the phone, you mentioned you would go thru my carb and get it in good shape. I have a friend that is passing by your area tomorrow. Would you be able to reach out to him so he can drop the carb off at your shop? His name is Jim Cunningham. His cell # is 812-230-6659 He has spoke with you before also. Hoping you get this message..... When we spoke last summer you mentioned you would rebuild my carb this winter. Please give me a call at your convince. Hope you had a good holiday!! Harland Sharp are excellent, first choice is Crower Enduro but they are expensive.....

Hey Cliff after reading a older post on the roller rockers , do you have a suggestion on what roller rockers are best today ? I have the scorpion aluminum rockets and they are not real quiet , looking for stainless now I guess ... thanks for any advice.

Cliff - Do you know of a good source for the choke bi-metal spring assembly that mounts on the manifold? I bought a rebuild kit from you for you 70 Chevy C10 and I think that the choke is not opening during hot conditions. The vacuum pull off checked fine. Thoughts
