I read an old post of yours where you were tossing around the idea of swapping transmissions. I too have a 66 Catalina and I'm considering a 4L80e when I finally do a motor build and swap. The car has a turbo 400 in it now. I figured a 4L80e would possibly fit where a turbo 400 was but I've honestly never sat one side by side. Curious what you ended up going with or if you discovered any new knowledge on this topic and might be able to let me know if I'll need to chop my transmission tunnel? Thanks
