Cliff, I just wanted to thank you for your q-jet book. I know you've been battling health issues, and a backlog of carbs. So I decided to give it a try myself.
    Here's the thread:http://forums.performanceyears.com/f...d.php?t=588416
I'm going to save the 800 CFM carb for my LeMans. I'll probably get in touch with you about carb mods and cam choice since I'll be going with a 4 speed.
Thank you for your book, and the willingness to share info and help others with your posts.

    Hi, Cliff...
I saw a post that mentioned your recent arm(?) surgery. How's it going?

Yes, you can use the same hook up point as the springs. I have some TV cable mounting hardware in spare parts someplace, that will allow the TV cable on the outside, and springs on the inside, provided you have enough material to drill a hole for them. I'll look tomorrow and see what I have and how big the holes needs to be for them?.....Cliff

Cliff, I bought a Q-Jet carb from you a year ago and we are changing my trans from a TH350 to a 2004R and we can't find the right bracket to fit the carb for the TV cable? Can you help? Also, theres a hole on the side of this carb. where the springs hook up on the side of the carb. Is this hole for the TV cable hook up?
