Hi Rob? I never had it running I bought it as a spare and have since changed to a ls engine, I do turn it over and it spins freely I was told it had 46000 miles, and the carb is tight. Someone replied to the ad and said they think it may be a 250 cubin inch which could very well be I thought the balancer was too big for a 230 but I cant find my list of engine codes to verify that. As far as delivery I have a friend who owns a moving company so I can talk to him this weekend, if you wish you could call me on the phone i I'm not real proficient e-mailing my name is Robbie, my number is 651-592-9166 any time after 4pm central
I'd like to know what is the wheel code on your Firebird ? Reason I'm asking is I saw you put a INLINE TUBE disc brake conversion kit and was told it does not work with every rally wheel. Thanks, Frank.
Hi Rob, Thought I'd fill you in. The dealer pulled the trans and the disc was fine. The pressure plate had a broken piece; one of three 1" barrel or cylinder shaped pieces. (I'm not sure if I explained it accurately!) The dealer said I drive too easily and that I caused the problem. lol I'm done with them and I can't argue anymore at this stage of my life. They are however going half with me, thus it will cost me about $650.00. All the parts must be changed at one time! I'm definitely going to sell the car anyway because my family needs another automatic due to my daughter getting her license any day now. If you know of anyone interested in a beautiful car, totally stock and never modified and never raced, let me know. I live on Brooklyn. Thanks again for your advice and concern, Peter
