I actually bought my speedo driven gear from my local Chevrolet dealer. I think it was pale green but can't remember how many teeth that was. I'll have to look in my files to see if I can find that out for you. You can also get these gears from places like Jegs.

Searching about trans speedo gears came across your name. See also your avatar looks like a 62. I've a 62 and had same issues. Need info on a new speedo gear (mine broke). It's red becuz have 2.69 rear gears. Where do I get a new one? Thanks!
