#831 bought 9/09 with 9,200 miles ... stock

The car has, as far as I can tell, 120,000 miles. Records found in the car show it was well maintained and that the oil was changed regularly until 108,000 after that I am not sure. When we finally had a warm day last weekend I decided to tinker. Taking off the valve cover I found a nice surprise.

I do all my own work,have been doing such since I began building cars in the mid eightees,then a bit later on I went to voc. college and got a degree in automotive mechanics in '89-'90,after that worked as a ASE master auto tech since 1990 (recert in'98),so there is very little I cant handle on my own,I have worked at dealerships (ford),and in the "retail/independant" auto service sector,as well as having worked in parts sales for both as well.

Most all of this time,I also worked "off the clock" on high performance cars for friends and good customers and such,some of this was also helping these people at the drag strips with their rides.

A serious injury that required major surgery a while back dictated a career change,so I'm no longer working as an auto tech these days.

On a lighter note:

'65 GTO a project that fizzled.
'61 ventura Ditto (and the only car I ever regret selling to this day!).
'73 ventura 2 dr. hatchback 350/th350 rally 2's 8.5" 10 bolt 3.42 posi.
'74 ventura 2 dr. coupe 455/th400 cal tracs,built 8.5" 10 bolt 3.42 posi.

Besides my own two current projects,I'm also currently working on getting my brothers S-code 390 equipped '68 ranchero GT road worthy,it needed a full on front suspension and brake rebuild,the C-6 auto trans rebuilt,as well as a valve job,and a few upgrades and detailing for good measure!
