Picture 1976 Trans Am.
This Trans Am has been parked for 25 years. The original owner developed a rod knock in the engine so he parked it under a tree. The second owner bought it and rebuilt the 400 engine. He started buying new part's to restore it, then lost interest so it stayed in his shop for another 15 years. The engine was never started.

The next owner bought it along with a 1974 Formula 400 for $1500.
He gave the Formula to a family member which shortly after it ended up being hauled off because of the huge rust problem and no one wanted to deal with it.
The Trans Am sat in his shop for another 10 year's. The engine would be manually rotated from time to time and the cylinder's were kept lubed. He didn't have much use for it since he was more of a Ford guy and only bought both car's because it was a good deal.
I ended up with the car through horse trade. I'll be starting work on the Trans Am this summer.

1976 Trans Am. 64k mile's. Automatic.
