1962-1964 auto trans linkage
I am trying to install a factory automatic transmission floor shifter in a 1962 Bonneville. I am missing the parts that go UNDER the floor. If anyone has pictures (either photos or diagrams) of how they are mounted could you please post them. I haven't been able to find the Bonneville pieces so I trying to see if I can modify the GP parts to work. Any help would be great.

Wouldn't a GP (basically a Catalina) use a Slim Jim automatic transmission?

I suspect parts specifically for a Bonneville will be much harder to come by than a GP, since all GPs had floor shifts and most Bonnevilles did not. |

This might be too far afield but when I put the TH400 in my '63 GP I made my own.
I used a piece of threaded rod and a tie rod end from a John Deere garden tractor. K

Not sure if it would help you but I have all the linkage from my ‘63 still.
Sorry, mine was a column shift.
