Default My Wife - Prayers

Please Pray brothers and sisters.
My wife - Julie - has had breast cancer occurrences since 2002. In 2016 Chemotherapy right after my daughters wedding.
.
We found out last week that it is back and has spread to her bones. We go in for a CT scan today to see if any organs have been hurt. 37 years married. Most wonderful wife and mother. Dr. says we can hope to manage the spread with some new effective drugs/chemo.

We have two great grown kids, Nick and Katie. Katie has two identical twin granddaughters 18 months old. Nana (I'm Nono) watches them 2 days a week.

For 22 years she has worked for us at the internet business we started in 1989. She came in and offered to help after we started growing and now runs the place and is the key employee now doing everything. Payroll for 15, insurance, A/P, A/R, 401(k)s all of it with grace, humor and skill. I have been blessed to work with her every day, and see her for 24 hours each day. Some people could not imagine that. I can't imagine not doing that.

Her and I went in to talk to my 2 partners to let them know the situation and to make it clear that, no matter the prognosis we will be living each day together now. The business is secondary. They understand and are 100% supportive as they have been i the past..

We We have been prepping for a sale of the business, have engaged a broker 10 months ago and are also considering the option of a not present role for each of us three, while the business continues if a sale of the business and the building doesn't work out. That just accelerated for me.

We are in fine financial shape, have no mortgage and no debt and have been able to help the kids.

She has always wanted to buy a trailer. I was always working from 5am to 6pm. We're going trailer or RV shopping this week. Can't decide.

Life rushes by when you're older doesn't it.

I'll be selling all of my parts and probably the two cars. I'm telling myself to decide after our birthdays in April. Hers is the 13th mine the 12th.

Prayers sent. Much of your story mirrors our own situation and I know there is nothing I can say except there is a great comforting and healing power (for both of you and your family) in your love you have for each other.
When you guys criss-cross the US in your trailer/motorhome know that when you get to New York (Long Island) we have a place for you to set up camp at our home.
I suspect that same offer holds true with so many of us here on this forum.

Hope things go as well as they possibly can.

My in laws travel quite a bit and my father in law always said that maintenance on a truck is much easier, affordable and more readily available than on an RV. That was always his take on it and they have done it for 30 years. The point being that a RV May sit for weeks at a time but a truck will be used more regularly.

I really hope you guys make it through this

This morning in my quiet time I read a devotional which reminded me that we have a God that is the God of the impossible. I will pray for you and your wife that you may know His strength and comfort.

James,

My thoughts are with your Wife, you and your family.

Stay positive and if you need a small break, just pm me, as you are welcome to come over the hill to Fremont and talk GTO’s. I’m close to Niles.

Regards, Chris.

Praying for healing.
Praying for the family.
Somewhere in Mat 7:7 ask and you shall receive. Read it this AM. We are asking.

As for "new drugs" I hear Immuno "therapy" might be the new cure.

Best wishes for a positive outcome! It seems there are a lot of new therapies for cancer these days, I will believe that the doctors will find a way to deal with this.
