Thank you. Not looking so good though..

I never would of thought it would be so hard to find one.

No wonder so many guys jump ship..

Makes me feel like it at this point..

These companies cater to whats in demand.

If there was more turbo street guys wanting the smaller strokes that could change.. Well , maybe..

Nobody else out there having one to sell?????

I got one call , but he never got back to me with a price.. Im tempted to just go with my cast Arma steel crank . I wonder how much turbo power it would handle ??

You would think the companies would make more 3.75 cranks. they are always in short supply. Even the 4" get hard to find. I let one go and wish I had kept it.
But there was that guy who took a cast N 400 crank to 6 sec in his funny car. I have a arma steel crank if that helps. June is not so far off too.

Pontiac is a pretty small market and 3.750 stroke cranks is really small. Best thing to do imo is turn down a 4" or just go with the 4".

I wouldn't be afraid to run the A.S. crank, I no I've done some stuff that
was pretty incredible with no problems what so ever. I've put this blower
motor through some really hard **** and it just shrugged it off like it wasn't
nothing so take that as you may but them arma steel cranks are pretty tuff.

GT.

Yeah its all about whats selling . You would think being there is a market for the larger strokes that they would make a batch of the smaller ones with the thinking of it might work out because of there successes with what they sell now .. I called scat and they said no but would make me one for 2000k. lol Might as well pay the extra 1500 for a billet at that point.. Its weird that the 4" only come with 2.200 ros journal where the 3.75 only come 2.250.. And i dont like that the 3.75 dont come with straight shot. That is a mistake on there part . They should change that ..

Ive seen that guy with the 65 that ran that crank. Problem is i havent seen any track videos on it or even heard of any runs to know if it stayed together .. Thanks for the offer ,but i already have a arma steel crank . I may just use it at this point..

I already have my pistons so i cant use a 4" . I would need a 6.500 rod . Closest is a chevy rod 6.535 rod. But the piston would be way above deck..

I have a '67 'N' 3" main, 3.75 that I just removed from my engine.
No spun bearings, or turned journals - stored standing on end.

Use .075 head gaskets.
Sorry didn't realize you had pistons already.

Charlie,FYI it is a 389 factory forged SD crank.Might be a issue for you because it has the short snout.I have been using the short snout cranks in modern builds for more than 20 years with no issue.Remember the balancer seats against the lower crank sprocket so no issue. If its a issue let me know now as I dont want to push the guy.It is part of a SD rotating assm.It will be more than the offshore crank for sure.Wont be double but will be more.Tom
