Default Door glass Weatherstrip recommendation?

Can somebody give me a recommendation for where to find some proper fitting outer door window (felts) weatherstrips for my '71 Formula? The first set I bought suck and the second set I just got (that are supposed to be all that) are identical. Thanks in advance.

There are two types.
1. With the top chrome trim molding
2. Without the trim on door top.
The "Without chrome trim" pieces seem to show up more often

I can go look in the garage;
I bought a set of outside weatherstrip for the '73 I had (it had the chrome dressup, so the weatherstip did not have the chrome bead;
The brand I bought SUCKED.
As I seem to recall it was flat - so at the end of the door where it curves up, I had to bend it, which resulted in the weatherstrip having a wrinkle/crumple... cobsidering I bought the part to look nice, I was pissed.
I kept the box so that I knew to stay away from that brand when I bought it in the future.

At the OP: I looked into this before leaving for Los Angeles;
Sorry I believe I tossed that box last year... but I should have recorded what it was somewhere...

I FOUND IT!!!

(my two car garage has ALOT tucked away in it... the downside is i will on occasion move something and lose track of it)

the set I bought were PUI;
part number 70FWCD
I have noted on the box that the puter were terrible, and to never buy these again.

Not to hijack but for clarification on the 'style' that is correct for a '71, non-decor trim. There are two styles I will describe with part numbers and would like to know which style was correct for 1971 and early years.

#1 > 9612536,9612537 - These have the wide, flat stainless strip
#2 > 9612538, 9612539 - These have the 1/8" round stainless bead

#3 > 96124540, 9612541 - These have no stainless exposed and are used for the decor trim

Thanks for input

Firebirds only have two types of exterior door weatherstrip;
... atleast as far as OE Firebird stuff was concerned;
I believe the third type was a Camaro part... but I cannot be certain right now.

decor trim: outside weatherstrip nas no chrome; the chrome was a seperate piece mounted to the tops pf the doors
standard trim: has small chrome bead as a part of the outside door weatherstrip assembly.

Makes sense now that the wide bead might be a Camaro only part.

Is it possible to run the 'decor trim' sweep with no 'decor trim' in order to loose the exposed chrome bead? If that's been done does anyone have a good pic of that installation?

I've known guys in the past to delete the decor trim molding -
to get rid of the waves at the top of door from the spot-welded posts that hold the clips.

Then grind the posts off and work the door smooth.

Believe they went with new non-decor sweeps though.
You could get by with the decor sweeps i suppose .
They just won't overlap the top of the door as much - cosmetically.

Or sell them - and get some new non-decor sweeps.
