CARB & MANIFOLD FITTINGS...
$5-$10. Various year fittings, most all known to be off OHC engines.
However some may very well carry over. Let me know if you need something.

Yes still have some of the fitting not all are shown LMK what your after, I may have it.
Also have lots of OE/Correct Bolts for the finishing touch

Jeff, Do you know if any of those adapters is for the carb to vacuum booster (carburetor side). I had to make shift some fittings on my Sprint.

None of these would be correct for the hose.
FWIW; Not sure if the following detail carried through into '67-'69 but I was fortunate to have oe 1966 booster to carb vacuum tube/line configuration detailing given to me from an NOS kit. Something I thought may be of interest. The only piece I had to modify was the carb fitting to except the hard line/tube which connects to the base plate. The local Lowes has a decent fitting selection in the plumbing dept. Cheers

Vacuum fitting

How about the vacuum fitting in the middle with the 4 nipple on it. Let me know how much. Thanks |

Rob,
The multi port fitting when installed in the base-plate of the 4BC protrudes aprox 2.5" and may pose a cam housing clearance issue. The second fitting shown has about a 3/8 OD and might work better with the booster hose ? let me know what you think. Cheers.

I was thinking of sticking it in the manifold to operate the dist and th350. Capping the rest. Or saving it for the future. Would you happen to have a 4bbl fuel line? Maybe with the vacuum line. How about a 4bbl choke rod from the thermostat to the carb?

I do have a few 66 fuel lines that would fit/function on other years but no duel lines.
The choke rod I found spans the choke to carb but not sure what it came off. LMK if you interested.

Jeff,
The fuel inlet on the carb I got from you comes out pointing toward the front of the car. Is there supposed to be a curved fuel line that would then point back to the line you are showing? I must have misexplained the choke part I am looking for. I would be the link that goes from the choke coil on the manifold to the linkage on the side of the carb. You bend these to get the correct opening operation. So far I am interested in the vacuum fitting, a fuel line, (it looked like they were both fuel lines in the pic you posted), and a choke kink if you have it. |

Yes '66 utilized a short "U" hard line at the carb as well as some of the early '67's.
At some point '67 also ran full hard line from carb to pump, but don't know when that started. Sorry no good on the choke rod. Hows $25 to your door sound on the line & fitting? If that works shoot me your address. Thx

Here are some pics of what we discussed earlier. The vacuum port I am pointing out in the pic may not actually draw vacuum. If it does, that will be the problem. |

I'm not a carb expert by any means but have seen some that where modified by drilling small holes in the base plate but I have no idea what the reason would be and or if this is similar. Post these up in the STREET section and see if those in the know can offer some better advise.

Can you actually blow air through that passage, or is it not opened to another point inside the carb itself? If it is not, it wouldn't matter I think.
I would ask one of the carb experts, like Cliff Ruggles. |
