I like that just as it is. The asking price does not seem out of line for what is presented.

i agree that it should be kept as is - although too bad about the tail panel. i'd probably be inclined to 'repair' that to some level. i'd bring it completely up to snuff mechanically, clean it up cosmetically (a few issues can be seen in the interior), and present it like that. completely restored, it's like all the other restored '69 T/As. like this, it's unique and has a story. you wipe away the stories in a full resto.

And you haven't bought it yet why?
If I were closer it'd be in my garage already.

I am more tempted than willing to admit. The second gen mirrors look really in place on this body style.

I really wish I had the time to go look at this car but I'm dealing with a father who just had another stroke.... and if I did go I'm guessing I would pull the trigger myself. I know I'll regret passing this up...

Wow, I would rock the **** out of that and it would be my daily driver project like my current 69 is.

That is a great price for a 4-spd Trans Am. Damn I wish

Having owned one and now have a clone is it truly a "great"price?I imagine when done the new owner will have at least 75K in the car?I think it priced about what it is worth.JMO,Tom

Tom, considering it looks to be a fairly complete car and not need to hunt down every little part I think it's a great price.
Personally I'd do a driver restoration on it and drive it, screw the full pro resto, it doesn't need one, unless it's for a collection.

I'd knock that dent out of the back and put a decent paint job on it (Only because of the peeling). Done.

I'm with you on this. I would go through the brake and fuel systems to make sure they're safe. I would knock the dent out of the rear panel and freshen up the interior to make it look nice, then drive it as-is. To hell with the paint.

I called 3 times, no return call. Makes me wonder if he got a lot of calls. Some lucky person living near there probably got it.
