Wow thats a bunch of someday cars! Letting them sit out like that for several years is so bad. I know a Ford hoarder that has some pretty rare cars that aren't going to be worth a ship real soon. I get that they are his do with as he wishes but? I ahve heard stories of a 65 2+2 421 Tri-Power 4spd that has been sitting for 40 years and is junk?

Sad to see, however better off there then a scrap yard I guess.
From an owner perspective I'd be real POed if someone was posting overhead views of my property, unless it was the owner doing some fishing

I'm surprised the city hasn't forced the owner to clean up. Both adjacent houses have swimming pools, so I'm guessing this isn't a low income area. Judging from the palm tree and what looks like sandy soil, I'm guessing this is in Florida.

I agree Andre, why is there a car covered up in the front yard and why do the covers on the other cars look so clean???
Could be a drone photo though, the clarity is about right for it. Or maybe it's Andres backyard in FL and he's throwing us off the trail....

The swimming pool? With the exception of the swimming pool, the yard reminds me of Dana Lerum's in Pepin, WI. Dana was one of those guys that loved Pontiacs and couldn't resist accumulating them to get them back on the road "some day". I met Dana after purchasing my '64 back in 1992. I needed some parts ('64 GTO buckets, heater core cover, miscellaneous trim pieces and a '64 389) and I heard about this mechanic down in Pepin that had a '65 GTO parked outside his shop in town. Rumor had it that he had his own personal salvage yard. The rumor was true. Dana had the pieces I needed, but wouldn't give me a price. I stayed in touch and frequently brought him pictures of the process of my build. Ultimately he sold me everything but a '64 389. I was always hoping that he would get one of his GTO's driveable so we could go cruise somewhere together. I think it was about 10 years ago Dana had an auction and sold everything. It was talked about at length on this board. Part of me wanted to go to the auction, but the other part of me didn't want to be there as I think this was a tough day for Dana. I hope that Dana and his wife are enjoying life in Montana (I think that's where he moved to). |

No exif data I saw.
Doubt it was taken by a cell phone anyway. Has palm trees, leaves Wisconsin out probably?

Really haphazard way of putting them in the yard. No options for mowing and if it is Florida I would think that yard would grow over the cars pretty quick. The cars that are in rows nose to tail look like they were driven in and parked like that. The rest of it would be a nightmare to try to get a specific car out of there unless it was a front row car near the fence...very odd...

When I first saw this I blew it up to see more detail, and I almost thought these were a bunch of die-casts and this was a diorama. But I think it's real.
I originally saved the pic and tried to post it as an attachment, but it was too small, so I linked it directly off the Hot Rod site (apologies to the moderators for making it oversized, but I thought in this case we could make an exception). I'm sure you guys can identify a lot of cars in this pic. See lots of hood scoops. Mike

I'm guessing north/central Florida. Tampa-Daytona-Gainesville triangle or so.

I see a Martinique Bronze 2 DR HT Tempest or LeMans. And a couple of Chryslers or Plymouths in the mix too.... maybe one is a Desoto.

Awesome picture , I cant stop starring at it.
The blue with white stripe early Trans Am is the one for me. Tons of Gto's that should be rescued. Maybe someone could zoom in on the RV in the far right of photo to get a license plate? |

This kind of large situation enters into mental illness territory. You don't get cars like that free.... same as burning the money in the end....

Whatever and Whenever, that is a heck of a Back Yard. I would love to spend days slowly going through the cars and the buildings on property.
I would not want to be the person that weed wacks / mowes that lot! You could fire up that old tow truck (SW of center of pic) and start moving them. LOL!

I see at least 4 '64 GTOs. The two bright spots on the hoods are a dead giveaway.
