Default NEW 1970 Judge Owner needs help

I just bought a 1970 GTO Judge Ram air III 4 speed car. (PHS certified) It is polar white with blue interior. The engine is disassembled and I only have the Block, Crank, Intake, heads, and oil pan. I am missing everything else...pullies, carb, ram air system, exhaust manifolds everything else. I know most parts are available aftermarket but I kinda don't know where to start. Does anyone know someone knowledgeable enough to build me a stock ram air III engine with my block and heads? I live in memphis. Thanks

Congrats!

Some of the parts shouldn't be a big problem.

How about some pics of the car?

not sure how close these guys are to you but if they are not local its probably worth the drive. Butler has a very good reputation.

That is a very nice car!

If that is a real WT-7 that would be rare in its own right.

Post the PHS on it.

Default PHS cert

Here is the PHS cert. sadly, I don't know what WT-7 is but I don't think this is a super rare judge just a good clean southern car with a lot of potential. Great form though guys.

Hi! "The WT7 rear spoiler was either painted body color or was black on white cars".
51 produced.

Thanks for the partial PHS.

Here's a link to some WT-7 info.

WT-7 Judge

Another one: WT-7 Judge

Might have to see if the build sheet is in the car to tell for sure on the WT-7.

BTW, your car should have the hood tach and the pic doesn't look like it has one on it?

Could you post a pic of the bottom part of the PHS showing the dealer name and info?
(or write it out - I collect dealer numbers and zones info.)

White with Blue interior is sweet and nicely optioned! WT-7s are cool too either way. Always harder to tell on a repaint car. Build sheets are priceless and only way to verify.

Hope the engine parts go together.

Carbs are not cheap or easy but, fun to find the dated correct stuff! Happy hunting!!

Nice docs!

One thing I saw that is strange, is it doesn't have RAM in the air cleaner box?
Kind of blurry, but compared it to another that was a little clearer, doesn't seem to indicate a stripe color like the Pontiac build sheet would have.

If it had been a Canada Judge it would have denoted the WT-7 on it.

Looks like an awesome Judge anyway you look at it.

Also, thanks for the dealer info, I did not have that one in my database.

Looked at a few Judge buildsheets for Arlington.
Appears that some of the boxes had an * for things that came standard on it.
So the Ram Air cleaner would be a standard option for the Judge and was not denoted like on the Baltimore plant sheet. (and others probably)

Possibly the stripe was also considered 'standard' and wasn't denoted either?

Where's BVZ at?

Welcome to the PY forum and Big Congrats on getting your 70 Judge.
Very good fortune to have a nice specimen of the buildsheet too.

Had higher hopes it would be a WT-7 when saw PHS listed R = Arlington plant.
But it was not originally equipped with the package.
On that type sheet , it would call out WT7 appearance package , right under WT1 .

With Blue interior , i'd rather have the default stripes anyway - myself.
WT7 got the Black Red Yellow stripes with a Black spoiler.

But by all means its your choice and would be easy enough to pull it off as a WT7 if you wanted to , since it is a White car from Arlington . Old folklore was that all 1970 WT7's were done at Arlington.
That has been disproven in the past years with documented examples from Pontiac plant and Oshawa plant .

What color stripes/decals are on it now ? Little hard to tell in pics.

Do you have any build sheets of Arlington with the WT7 option?
I didn't have any, the Canada ones were the only ones that showed it.

It has the blue yellow red stripes now but the car will have to be repainted to make it nice. Could u post a build sheet from my plant with the wt7 option. Then I would know for sure.
