Joey Logano may have gotten into the Chase due to #38 giving up his position.

they make the rules as they play the game and have been doin it like that for years

Actually, NASCAR has preempted the manipulation attempts of MWR, Penske and FRM to alter who is actually in the chase.

If NASCAR was manipulating - they would have just let it slide.
