Unhappy Got snipped today

I started my morning taking a percocet and a couple of valium (and a cup of coffee) proir to getting snipped. That was the highlight. Though getting snipped beats getting hit by a mortar, it still sucks. While the Dr. was cooking, the nurse was telling me how good Rocky Mountain Oysters are and that I should try it someday. My response to her was that I was glad I was awake with her in the room. The Dr. started laughing...WHILE STILL COOKING. Oh what a day...

Welcome to the club.

I am very happy with my two kids and also my decision not to have any more. Three years ago now, and not a single regret.

Aah, the morning after. I don't feel to bad but darn sure not chipper. My 5 yr old understands I can't pick him up or play with him, it's the 20 month old that is totally pi$$ed. My father-in-law came down to help with the boys. How odd, my father-in-law came down so I can get "fixed" so I can..aah...

My condolences, reminds me of a song...

I'm Still A Guy
Paisley, Brad;

When you see a deer, you see Bambi
And I see antlers up on the wall
When you see a lake you think picnics
And I see a large mouth up under that log

You're probably thinkin' that you're gonna change me
In some ways, well, maybe you might
Scrub me down, dress me up
Oh, but no matter what, remember, I'm still a guy

When you see a priceless friend's painting
I see a drunk naked girl
When you think that riding a wild bull sounds crazy
And I'd like to give it a whirl

Well, love makes a man do some things he ain't proud of
And in a weak moment I might
Walk your sissie dog, hold your purse at the mall
But remember, I'm still a guy

And I'll pour out my heart, hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around, knock some jerk to the ground
'Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

I can hear you now talkin' to your friends
Sayin' yeah, girls he's come a long way
From draggin' his knuckles and carryin' a club
And buildin' a fire in a cave

But when you say a back rub means only a back rub
Then you swat my hand when I try
Well, now what can I say at the end of the day
Honey, I'm still a guy

And I'll pour out my heart, hold your hand in the car
Write a love song that makes you cry
Then turn right around knock some jerk to the ground
'Cause he copped a feel as you walked by

These days there's dudes gettin' facials
Manicured, waxed and botoxed
With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands
You can't grip a tackle box

Yeah, with all of these men linin' up to get neutered
It's hip now to be feminized
But I don't highlight my hair, I've still got a pair
Yeah honey, I'm still a guy

Oh, my eyebrows ain't plucked, there's a gun in my truck
Oh thank God, I'm still a guy
Yeah boy

I had mine done about 30 years ago. The doctors had just started doing them in their office as outpatients. Now his assistant was a fairly cute nurse that I was wishing was not in there. I was looking around and I spotted a quart jar full of ice and water. I asked the doctor what the ice water was far and the nurse answered she hoped I didn't find out the hard way[and she put emphasis on the hard]. Well, as soon as she started shaving me down there guess what started raising its ugly head and I found out what the ice water was for.

Had mine a year ago Christmas. Lefty didn't numb at all- and when he started to pull out things I started to groan. He asked if I could feel that and tested me by poking something hanging out at that time. He believed me when I about jumped off the table. Lidocane is a wonderful thing when used properly. I also got a hematoma that hurt for about two to three weeks. Worth all the pain!!! Would do it again in a moment. I saved my peas for the dinner with the in-laws.
