That was just painful to see! Don't miss the photo bucket link on it. Now that's penny wise and pound foolish....happy with $90 per ton of scrap metal, but doesn't bother ebaying a set of 68 bucket seats for $300! (he called them 69 seats because of the center button rear covers yet you can see the side release on the driver's seat so someone just swapped 69-72 seat backs on it before it died.) Probably a console under there too. What was all that about a rare "jury" model? Never heard of that before. I liked the expert that pronounced it a 68 because 69's had horizontal side markers....um...it's a Lemans, not a gto....so he hits on the right year but for the wrong reason!

What a fool! I saw some possibly valuable parts on that trailer if the guy just takes some time to pull the stuff. Bucket seats, vinyl top trim, rear bumper core, tinted quarter glass, Rally II rims. The shell could have brought $500 on ebay if it was solid which I bet it was because alot of these crazy scrappers junk some good stuff.

Shred it up into China steel then we buy it back as repop sheetmetal that fits like crap. Nice.

What a F'in' tool! I cant believe the human(?) did that! It would have taken slightly less effort to ebay or part it!

Notice that the front frame had been cut off...likely for a roundy-round race frame

I've heard of it but don't know the details. Here's one take - http://ultimategto.com/cgi-bin/showc...970/70_00006_1

Sounds like the Macho Trans Am type thing. A dealer add on performance package.

That guy's a ****ing retard. That looks like a buildable shell let alone all the parts.

The jury was a pgk put together by a dealer in the NW to help sell cars. 350 cars, striping, and possibly a spoiler IIRC. I read some advertisements for them several yrs ago.
