Talking Cars are just like people...

Everyone has their own personality and so do cars. I found this out tonight. Since I bought my '78 hardtop I've been driving it pretty much all the time. I was driving my '78 T-top 4spd SE on a pretty regular basis. I drove my 4spd car for the first time tonight in about a month, like I said after driving the other car. The 4spd car makes the hardtop feel like it drives like a stationwagon. The only thing they have in common is that they are both '78 T/As. Hardtop is a 400 6.6 Litre car, standard posi rear and 350 auto. It does have a mild cam and 40 series Flowmaster duals. The SE is a ST-10 4spd W72 with 3:42 rear and 744 cam, and the V-Force muffs that PY used to sell. Hardtop sounds real good but the SE sounds like a freakin race car, especially when you mash the gas and the secondaries open up. I love them both for what they are but it sure makes me appreciate the SE for the monster it is. I guess it's kind of nice to have the best of both worlds. When I want a mild street car that looks good I have it. When I want to go out and get rowdy I can do that too...

Just thought I'd share that.
