Default New Judge arrived at the Farm

I just picked up my new Judge this past weekend.
A quick question the fella was running 5W50 Synthetic in the motor.
Can a guy go back to non synthetic w/ out a problem I've heard different things on this?? Muchly appreciated Craig.

Depends on what the motor was broke in with. If it has always run synthetic, stay with it or you will have seal problems..........................

Here's a quick way, right click on the picture and "edit". That will open the pic in the "Paint" program. Click on the "Image" tab on the top toolbar, click on "Stretch/skew", then on the top "stretch" line, change both the horizontal and the vertical to 80 percent to shrink it up a bit, then resave it under a new name and check the new file size.

Looks sweet! In the engine compartment picture, it looks like the car had A/C and someone changed it over to a non a/c blower assembly. (that rectangular patch where the heater core tubes should be coming out). speaking of that, I'm sure it gets cold in Canada as it does here, time for a heater core!

Stay with the synthetic! 71/455/HO/4SP is correct. I read a good article today that confirmed this and also said to stay away from the SM code oils which have reduced levels of Zinc additives.

Put synthetic back in.
I have used synthetic since my engine was broken in except for the last oil change.
Shortly after the oil change I had some issues with some seepage.
Where did yoou pick your car up?

Nice car! Unforunately, the engine compartment picture you included seems to confirm that my firewall and fenderwelss are too glossy a black. I was hoping I didn't have to do any painitng when the engine was out, but looks like I was wrong.
