89 GTA Rear End Swap - Will discs swap? HELP!
Greetings! I have a friend who has an '89 GTA that has a Borg Wagner 9 Bolt set up - it's toast! We've found a rear out of an '87 T/A that is a 10 bolt and has a little lower gear ratio, HOWEVER, is has drum brakes.
My question: If we install th 10 bolt rear, will the disc brake set-up from the '89 fit on the '87 rear? An accurate answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

no, housing flange are way different. You may be able to drill and sawzall it to fit, or weld it.
 this is the drum flange from the inside... |
