GM has now increased the rebate to $5500 if you finance with gmac. This is good for the southeast region, I,m not sure about the rest of the country.

I just got a voice mail from a "friend" who is a salesman at a local Pontiac Dealer (East Central Florida). I had tried to buy a 04 from him about a month ago but no go. He said something about a new program coming out Friday. The ls1.gto board is down so I am trying to find out what is up. I did a quick check on 04's within 100 miles and there are about two dozen or more cars. Not sure how current the GM locator is but that seems like a lot of cars to sell before the end of December (end of fiscal year for GM). Anybody know the details on this new program? Can you still get the $5,500 rebates and the low interest rates?

Not according to the incentives page, still 3500 + 2.9 for 60 mos OR 0% for 72 mos.
By the way, South East still shows 3500 thru January 3rd,. Where are you seeing 5500?

GM Buypower shows $3,500 for the North East region. Would stand to reason that the areas of the Country that see snow would like to "off" a high horsepower, rear drive car this time of year, but GM doesn't seem to be offering anything new but the 0% for 72 thing.

I'm guessing this can't be combined with the 0%/72mo deal? I also just found out that I can get the SMS discount...
Let's see.. More dirt, an airplane, or a new Holden... Decisions, decisions....
