Default Brake booster for 77 TA

In the process of repainting my car. Since the fenders and hood were off I decided to paint the master cylinder and booster. MC is new, but once I got the brake booster off the backside is rusted, the boots all torn up, the rods loose, there’s washers trying to come out of the hole the rod is in(?) so overall it seems like a good idea to get another one before I put the car back together.

The car is going to stay mainly stock, with factory rear drums. I have no plans on any kind of racing or any real brake upgrades. But I also don’t think a $100 brake best booster is really the best option. What’s the best high quality booster that looks kinda original without being overly expensive? I see Wilwood makes a $500 MC and booster combo, not really what I’m looking for. I can’t find any tags or numbers on my booster and it doesn’t seem to me like a genuine GM part. Just seems kinda chintzy, but this is my first older GM car.

I rebuilt my own boosters, but have been sending other brake parts to white post for rebuilding. The booster would be yellow zinc even though they’re form indicates clear zinc. Worth calling and enquiring.

Not a firebird guy but the booster might have numbers on both sides of the top tab if original? I recommend checking out this site:
https://www.brakeboosters.com
In my case I had a repro booster and it didn’t last long, got mine rebuilt.

I went with 8" dual diaphragm booster and disc/ drum master from Summit on the TA ,The TA has roller rockers so it has taller valve covers. On my 79 Camaro I went with 8" dual and disc/disc master(Wilwood). If you replace you master make sure you get the correct bore, to much bore will give you a hard pedal

I bought a repro from the Right Stuff for my 77. It was the correct colour and stamped. I think the unstamped ones are a bit cheaper. I had Booster Dewey rebuild/replate the one from my tata as I have become a bit crazy about original parts on that car. The price wasnt too bad, If I recall around what a repro cost. The rebuild time was about 6 months though.

So i think mine is one of these
https://www.speedwaymotors.com/1970-...CABEgKXkfD_BwE

Mine looks like a very rusted copy of this and says the right half of

DELCO
MORAINE

but it’s not stamped 100% of the way left and right. I had to use a maroon pad to sand off the oxidation to find that. This car sat outside with the hood cracked for years.

Would these be a good option? I only ask because I see the “Official GM restoration” so does that mean it’s a refurbished original or a reproduction of the original? If at all possible I’d love to stay gm part, but I don’t care if it’s stamped “correctly” if it’s just a Chinese knockoff. I see no country of origin listed either.
