I can deliver the TCS to the POCI Nationals in Bowling Green if needed.

Hi MescaBug, I'm not sure if it's for 4spd cars only or not.

Here's the '72 assembly manual page for Firebird/Trans Am that describes the vacuum hose options. It identifies the connection to the TCS for auto and manual cars, however, this is not the specific page that calls out the TCS part (I can't find that page in the manual).

Also attached is a picture of an unrestored documented '72 Trans Am automatic that belongs to a member on these forums.

I hope this information is helpful.

Are you sure that is for an HO 455 Motor ? I'm asking because the one that is on my 72 GP with a 455ci looks just like that with the same part #. However the one that does not work anymore that came off of my #'s matching HO GTO has a part # of DR1114437,and the mounting bracket is different.Which is right and which is wrong ? I'd like to find and buy the right one.

Finally found it.

DR1114454 is listed as correct for all 8cyl in '72.

437 is listed as '70, '71 455HO.

I imagine with model years and assembly line and assembly manual changes, that 437 and 454 may both be correct.

The 4454 is used in all 1972 applications whether you had a manual transmission or an automatic. Greg has the right one available.
