In the New York region (not upstate, but on the Island) there is Cap-A-Radiator:

https://www.caparadiator.com

They did my Harrison radiator in my '63, and I'm planning on a stop there tomorrow with the radiator and heater core from one of my '56 Safaris. I'll post back with my current experience.

As I have previously posted I have this same thread running on the 67-72 truck forum. I have complied a list of all the radiator shops and a moderator has opened up the first post of the thread and posted them for easy reference.

I don't know if that is possible on this forum or not but, if it is I can forward the list to whomever can make it happen.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed.

A correction, then, to my previous post. Cap-A Radiator in Farmingdale, NY was acquired in 2023 by Acme Radiator in Islip Terrace, NY:

https://acmeradiator.net

49 Carleton Avenue
Islip Terrace, New York 11752

631-581-9199

I just dropped my '56 Safari radiator there on Monday to be re-cored, and they tested my heater core for me (which, amazingly, was good).

Hopefully, this will make its way into the "next" update to the master list. ;-)
