I saw on a recent George Report (Canadian PHS) that a total of 85 OO cars were sold in Canada
..out of a total of 518 OO Judges produced in 1970

PHS is a damned if you do, damned if you don`t. Over and over someone here at the forums will commend PHS and give them a free pass when it comes to them searching their build sheets as "impossible to search for an option" and therefore not possible to report back on their findings. The fact is the owner of PHS has done elaborate searches and found very rare cars still with the original owner or family, tracked them down and purchased them. It would be great to have some stats on many years of Pontiacs. I have owned 15 cars and probably would hate to hear I sold 1 of 1 4sp 1964 Tempest Taxi. hee hee (Actually a fleet was in Omaha in 64 so guessing at least 20 cars)

PHS normally just provides the individual sheet for a car.
No record keeping, at least that is public. (except for some like possibly the RA I & II) Fred Simmonds did most of the leg work searching documents (basically what PHS has now probably) and recording the data. He did most of the GTO and Firebird stuff. Some Early stuff also I think. Also Pontiac had a year end type of document. Most of these aren't broken down as far as some want now a days though. Of course without PHS, a lot of present day knowledge wouldn't be available either, the internet helped put the info in one place basically. (just not categorized well) PY has an abundant amount of knowledge that helps everyone, also.

John your probably correct..........but the reason PHS doesn`t do stats counting...........there`s no money in that. Even armed with a simple program, entering stats would be easy. (time involved however) My interpt from recent Barris/Jackson statements pretty much sums up the PHS value but with fewer cars every year vs even 10 years ago, sales are probably down at PHS. Just fewer and fewer cars and those out there already have the so-called docs. Keith stated he has sold all of the known Z11 vettes ever made and some multi times. He found it interesting that there are more Z11 cars out there than were ever made and very much registered with Corvette guru clubs as documented original. (The 70 LS6 and 7 cars are also in this group) Yes I for one am happy that PHS exists with all of their faults. My original question was for the 70 Judge convert, 4sp and the Orbit Orange. It would be nice to have the correct stats for this car and have PHS doc the quantities for those collectors yet to come.

Would have to double check, but think it may have been from an HPP article?
Breaking Down Numbers? series? (or something like that)

This is all that I know that exists is from this sheet from Fred. I don't even know if it's accurate (no special-order colors listed?), but I wouldn't trust any other color info without learning about the source. As I enjoy numbers, I like to think I would have heard of *something* that's been discovered, but I'm not the end-all of number info so my opinion means diddly beyond Fred's numbers.

That's the sheet for GTO's.
(same as I have) Doesn't include the Daytona Yellow cars (2?)? Fred calling the Palomino Copper as Lt Saddle I guess. Maybe the yellows were combined.

Those would be the special-order colors, which are not listed. And we don't know how many they made, although you seem to know of two?

Yeah, I used the letters to see what the Lt Saddle was.
Strange (to me anyway) he knew the letter codes but didn't use the color name. Also here is an earlier post that may explain the link I posted earlier: Judge Conv Color

Yeah, that list is unsubstantiated and includes numbers that don't match existing colors in the registry (like maybe more documented cars of a certain color are known compared to the number claimed to be built). I'm going by memory here as it's been quite awhile since I cross-referenced some colors. Maybe North can confirm my memory?
