Default Got to drive SuperdutyBob's old SD

Well, my good friend let me borrow a car and I LOVED IT!

My new ride is being ripped apart so I had nothing for my sons Birthday (B-Day Burn Out) run. Well a GOOD friend said take one of my cars up nort for the weekend and enjoy.
Well I picked a 1974 SD455 Manual car that has been tuned for fun (right Bob?), and trailed it north. I drove it all over the nort making statements everywhere I went. It was LOAD, FAST, and FUN!

Bob, your the man! The car ROCKS and is a gas to drive. I told my friend that I wasn’t going to bring it back and he said NOT. He loves the car too so back it came but not until it drove many miles and brought many smiles to my son.
B-Day Burn Out Hill will NEVER be the same. The car was still spinning into third gear and smoking the ties that stopped traffic.
The best part was "Dad, where going 100 mph even though the car wasn’t!"

Thanks Bob and Thanks SuperdutyD for the loaner.

P/S I'll clean those quarters soon

Cheers, B

Dang, I wish I'd had bought that car.

Sounds like you and yours had fun.

Video or it didn't happen!

BTW - I love hearing when cars get used for what they were originally intended!

Wink

I'm glad you enjoyed it Brew........or is it Ascot or Revere?

I can put a pretty good tune on and I'm guessing there's more in it if given the time and anger to thrash it. I treated it gently though! It was my baby! LOL

Brew is fine Bob, and no the Revere is NOT blown. It just needs some tlc to get it running right. After the run your old car its going to need quit a bit

Plan is to make a correct nice driver that will reflect well next to Craigs. Friends have already started to help in locating parts like nos grills, master cylinder, radiator, shroud, fender, valance, however it still needs quit a bit.
There are high standards to keep you know!

Brother,

Sounds like you got a lot of smiles per gallon. I'm glad that I could contribute to the Birthday fun.

Stay thirsty my friend.
