Default Decided on a new look

I liked the steelies and poverty caps but was growing bored with the look. Plus, I think the color combo and vinyl top on my car is just not aggressive looking enough to pull it off. It needed help in that regard and I think the TTs do that for it.
Anyway, they have been changed.

Nothing wrong with the "day 2" look at all Greg. Been gaining popularity for a few years now, getting back to the way these cars were done not long after purchase Wheels look great.

For non-stock, I have always liked the look of (what I believe were originally called) Torquer D's(?) with the look of magnesium centres...

Thanks for the input guys. I painted the centers charcoal to kinda give a nod to the Rally II color scheme. I liked the steelies also so I still have them. Just thought I'd try something new and I've loved the TTs since I was a teenager. Never had a set but kind of hard not to try them at the new price of just under a bill apiece and free shipping.

I'm a steelies fan too. Some people love them, some hate them. But a good looking mag wheel is always accepted in my book.

I've been contemplating a T2 straight spoke with grey centers for my wifes Z. Basically reproductions of the originals that were used on Yenkos back in the day. I've seen some sales on them lately for just under $100 a wheel. They look fantastic with some reproduction Goodyear Wide Tread GT's on them

Looks good! Love the classic Torque Thrusts.

I've had my eye on the Year One 17" Rally IIs for quite a while now. I keep waffling on whether they're an improvement or not over my 14" RIIs with redlines.

Now I gotta wear these tires out so I can get some with a little wider tread profile...maybe a redline bias style but they are $$$$.

Nope. Gotta say the steely look on your car is better with the raised white letters. Sorry.

Looks Great. Good representation of why so many cars of this vintage came with the stock wheel option and what happened the next day!!! Here in the Northeast the "Steelys" became you or the next guy's "Winters"...!!!

No need to apologize, I know some guys that did not like the steelies on my car. Their opinions didn't bother me either which is why I ran them for 3 years or more. I just got bored with the look.

Looks good - I'm amazed at how the lighting plays with the color of the car.
