Wow, really sad to hear that. Brilliant comic actor, one of the all-time best.

That makes me sad, always liked his work and he seemed like genuine good person.

Lost a really good one today!! Right up there with Red Skelton & Jonathan Winters. He was really great. He totally lost it when his wife passed away due to mis-diagnosis of a curable cancer.

Unhappy One of a kind...

still recall the interview with Richard Pryor about the making of "Stir Crazy"...talking about going into the prisons and how Gene talked to the prisoners as if they were cast members.

Was surfing web yesterday....searching famous people from my home state of Iowa. Found out he was a University of Iowa Alum...yesterday.

He played an alcoholic cowboy in Blazing Saddles. He's in jail for some reason. Cleavon Little asks him what he likes to do besides drink....play cards and screw...LOL Cleavon says"Why don't we play cards?"
Had to be there..

Lost another one of the greats. RIP Gene. Say hi to Shakespeare and Longfellow for me. You'll find them over in Timbucktwo.

It's pronounced Frankensteen!

Supporting actors had it (made it look) easy.......what hump?

Even my daughter will miss Wonka. Gene Wilder reached all generations. Didn't he.
