1704-is from 70-75, 5- is 1975, 2- is a federal application (not California), 7- Pontiac, 4- even number is automatic transmission (not always correct). not sure about the T9. 3524- 352 day of 1974. So your carb is a Pontiac, produced on the 352 day of 1974 for a 1975 model year vehicle not made in California, which is most likely an automatic application.

A 274 is usually a high altitude calibrated carb.
