70 Trans Am shaker
Any ideas how or where I can rivet the metal air cleaner pan back onto the fiberglass shaker. It needs to be like OEM

Thanks Norwood, as much as I would love to send this shaker to you, I am not going to let it out of my sight LOL. Would you be interested in selling me the rivets though ??

Rivets are available online from various sellers. Google is your friend, good luck with this.

Most online sellers want to sell you large quantities.
On a whim I checked the local Ace hardware & found the tubular rivets there for .20 each. 3/16" x 1/4" is what I used. The rivet setting tool is available thru Hanson rivets. I just did this on my shaker & the look when finished was identical to oem. pm me if you have any questions. Last edited by steve v; 02-12-2021 at 04:39 PM. |

People send him shakers all the time. Good luck doing it yourself. Craig is the type of guy I would give the keys to my garage and my cars.
