Yup. Enrico's car has a two page window sticker priced at $5,810.20. Here they are, on the day he and Lenora bought it.

I know I started this crap, but I wouldn’t buy a car based on it’s future resale value. I married my wife because she flipped my da_n switch and she still does. I bought the cars I have for the same reason.

Steve - If the onlything standing between you driving or trailering your car to the TA Nats is 4 MPG, I will make up the difference in cost. Frank wants a driving buddy and I’ll be happy to cover the difference in fuel cost.

- upgraded engine
- ralley gauges
- P/S
- P/B
- steering wheel
- recessed wipers
- 15" wheels

I have tried collecting period road tests, and seem to recall that the spoilers and decaling on the TA wasn't universally accepted... but that all changed later in the 1970's!
A more observant person might have realized that I was talking to a 20 year old BJ

Where did we go off the rails? Steve, it's an HO thread & we've seen Enrico's pics before.

Craig - Fire that sucker up. If you break down again I’ll pay to get you to Fairfield and get you a case of Silver Bulets as well.

I can’t wait see everyone next year in Dayton. The best part of the hobby.

My guy has block Align bored and rotating assembley done, I’ll put the rest back together. Planning on a little fluff over the winter. Should be solid and ready for the trip next August. Been a couple years since I’ve made it so no one is looking forward to it more than me. If it breaks this year I’m going to tow it to the Natz and hang a for sale sign on it. Lol

Sorry for the derailing, Boss Man. :-)

I think I can get us back on track...here we go - The block in the Gramma car is technically a 1970 455HO casting number.

There, we are all fixed.

Back to our regularly scheduled program.

I looked at that car before you bought it. I may have spoken with you about it over 20 years ago at Englishtown....one of the ones that got away. I recall mags (Honeycombs?), rear console, AC, 4-speed. Seller was into autocrossing and bought an RX7.

Excuse me for being direct Steve but that has nothing to do with Bob's original post or the topic of the thread.

If you want to make the conversation about Gramma's car or the SD for that matter I believe there are threads for those already.

Was Ram Air an option on the '72 Formula 455HO, or standard? If an option, any idea how many of the '72 Formula 455HO cars came with the Ram Air option?

Thank you!

"not original drivetrain" - if the seller even HOPES to get anything near his asking price, he had better spell out exactly what he's got there...
