She's looking real good Mike. You have done an excellent job! Every time you post new pics I keep thinking about how she looked in the pic you posted of her on the trailer. You have come a long way and I can't wait to see the burnout video. Thanks for sharing your progress and the photo's of it.

that reverse switch has had me scratching my head in the past - that's the same one my car originally had (I have it put away; I swapped it for another one to have functioning reverse lights with my 3 speed reverse linkage)...
good to know that I have the correct part afterall!!

winnibego... lol!!

Didn't make Norwalk...chasing a exhaust leak under intake manifold. Smoke test confirmed.

So, until gasket comes...

Also got glove box restored and under steering column too.

Looks great Mike. Love the painted door handle inserts.. Are those the decals? The ones I ordered for mine are the wrong shade. I need to get MPR to paint them for me.

Now that it's running and driving. Just in time for my wife to drive for fall. Bet she never doubted I could get it done in less than a year after dragging a shell home...

Car has lots of power too. Really excited about getting more miles on it for next season.

Impressive effort there Mike - you can be proud of that one.

Much better result than I think any of us were expecting when we saw the repo package.

I'm totally impressed and envious. In 2009 my body guy told me 10 months...it only took him 2 1/2 years to finish mine and the 7 other jobs he started after mine, with mine getting done last.

But Mike, you should be very proud, really nice car sir.

Great effort, and car looks fantastic. I can not even comprehend getting one done in that amount of time...

Thanks for the comments. Really turned out nice too.

As a side note those pix were from early August, and grass is much better with rain.

I'll have to take new pix.
