Default 1970 color combo

Anyone ever seen a 70 Atoll blue Firebird with a medium saddle interior? Any pictures?

I figured someone would have seen one. Or was this combo not available?

Do you have a code for the "medium saddle interior"?

As far as I know there was Saddle - Std:205, Cust:215

Then there was Brown - which was only in Custom: 213

Which of these would be medium?
Or are you calling Saddle medium?

Default color combo

Is this what you are looking for? I am not an expert in Pontiac Color combos but trying to help.

This car belongs to one of the Pontiac Club members in Calgary Alberta. Photos were saved from an eBay auction in 2015.

The book I am referencing says "medium saddle" for #205/215. I should have just said saddle since there is no other variation.

You are welcome.

Are you looking for a car in this combo or doing a repaint?

Possible repaint if I can't find one in a color combo that I like and Atoll blue happens to be one of my favorite exterior colors.

For the 1970 Firebird:

Saddle
--------
Trim 205 - vinyl
Trim 215 - knit vinyl

Brown
-------
Trim 213 - knit vinyl

Sandalwood
--------------
Trim 207 - vinyl
Trim 217 - knit vinyl
Trim 227 - cloth

Esprit was not available with 205 or 207.

Base Firebird was not available with 213, 215, 217, or 227

Hope that helps,

Mike

Kind of a different drummer combo to my eye. Not something I would think to check on order boxes.... like it's uniqueness....

I think it looks great! If my '70 Lucerne blue / black Formula was this combo I probably would not have parted with it.

Well, I have a 73 in Admiralty Blue with Saddle, and as far as I know its the
only one. I would expect that yours is also one of if not the only one in that
Combo. I do like mine very much, and your sounds very nice as well, but these
are certainly not common, and both were likely customer Orders. I can tell you
that color matching these saddle interiors is a challenge unless you go for custom
color blending on your paints and dies. I do suspect that more than one of both
of these was likely built, but none of my searches has produced another.
Good luck with your search.

I think the Atoll blue with deluxe sandalwood is a real nice color combo. I've never seen the Atoll blue/saddle combo, so I'm not sure how it would look.

Blue Black, Saddle and Sandalwood were contrasting or acceptable.
Other colors were conflict on the order sheet ( which could be bypassed by checking a box at bottom right) and we are talking about an ordered car here, but Pontiac did force ship some oddballs LOL

Atoll Blue is a beautiful color! I've been toying with the idea of painting my 71 this color when it comes time to do it over. Atoll Blue with the white stripe and shaker should look pretty sharp!
