I'd like to respond by saying that unit is probably not NOS in the GM sense, but more than likely a replacement or repro piece. They were selling those on eBay approx. 2 years ago.

I believe the last one went for approximately $125. Are there any alternatives available out there other than older GM replacements?

OK, I checked the screws over. They DO look to be #12-28 x 1/2" long. I don't know where you can purchase the oddball size/thread screw other than a longer SS, binding screw from Fastenal.
