The rust in trunk is epic, maybe worth it? Damned if I am working this weekend, probably a good thing.
If the frame and rockers are solid, that might be worthwhile. Could be a nice looking car. Hard to imagine that the rust is only that bad in the trunk ...although roof and floors look pretty good in pics. Worth looking at I think...

That car is well worth the $2k in parts alone.

Agreed, the front clip is worth the asking price, Northwest cars rust out from sitting water not salt so this one probably rotted out around the rear window channel, and water leaked into the trunk and rear seat foot wells and just sat there. Looks like it was stored outside for years.
When I lived in the Everett WA area in the early 80's I looked at a lot of GTO's that had the same rust issued. I usually passed on them back then because there were better cars available, but now I would probably make an offer on this one if I were close.

Interesting he calls it a Coupe and never mentions if it's a clone GTO or Lemans. I'm guessing maybe LeMans may be too much effort to spell.

why would you have an 11" flywheel and only use a 10.5" clutch?

Another dreamer I offered 1,000 , he won’t answer questions or take better pictures , front bumper is wasted , grills look to be broken out , interior is trashed , who know if he has all the parts. Says he has another black dash But won’t send pictures of it. His original add said the hood was worth 800 to 1000. Now he doesn’t even mention the hood so I can assume it’s junk He told me. A guy came by and told him about the rusty subframe.
Heres the add : https://swmi.craigslist.org/cto/d/19...499977082.html

He sticking to 1800 for the car.
I was just buying it to part it out

Here's the description from his add :

400 BBP Blown head gasket. Headers intake carb cam distributor all hi-performance. Th400 automatic with shift kit. posi-trac/lsd. Ram air hood. Centerline aluminum rims. Quarter panels need replaced, I already have new full skins. Car has sat for over 20 years and has rust damage on the front subframe on at least one body mount location drivers side rear. We replaced the front brake calipers and master cylinder and had the car running long enough to load on trailer to move it, it was spitting out a chocolate milk like liquid out of the exhaust. I do not know how solid the car is otherwise. I dont have time to check or get special pics for you. I do have some pics to send if you Email call or text matt 2one9 78one 96six6. Cash in person only!

Here's a 2 in one deal from Wilmington, DE. $7500 for both. Both are hard top bodies. One is a real GTO and the other is a Lemans body with the rear tail panel swapped out to a 66 GTO tail panel. This one has the most work done to it.... but it needs more.
