What? 8.90-9.10 without nitrous, turbo, or super charger? WOW, that will be neat to see! There's a 500+ Pontiac, Wideports, roller, etc locally running 9.90's @136+ MPH in a full bodied TA. I can't imagine what kind of setup it would take to run a full second quicker? What's some of the details? JD

I'm not sure about the above details on 500" only running 9.90's?? Pump gas motor, Comp class maybe??

Jeff Kinsler has already run 9.29 with a stock block 474", Butler bone-stock CNC E head wideports and Victor intake.
This is a stock leaf spring suspension w/CalTracs on a 275/60 DOT Radial weighing at least 3350#-3400#

I'm not saying someone couldn't get there, I was asking what kind of combo? Ken K. ran what?, a 505 CID with 350-400 shot of nitrous to go 8.93, it just seemed a definite challenge to run as fast without a power adder that's all. I don't see many full bodied cars listed here capable of running a 8.90 NA, I'm just curious how you planned to get there? JD

Well, at least for this season it appears that it will be;

~900HP NA (~1.9HP/CuIn)
477" IA2 (4.35" bore x 4.0" stroke - Moldex billet)
E head wide ports
4500 Victor intake
50mm roller cam (Big Big as per Scott Rex, LOL!)
BOP belt drive

Without wheelie bars I will have to weigh ~ 3356# w/bars ~3406#

May change to 525" Aluminum IA2 for next season, but need a baseline first

I like the combo, it looks really promising. I wasn't sure if an E-head could support over 800 hp? I would have thought either Tiger or CV-1 to make those kind of numbers. It should be a blast, good luck, I can't wait to hear how it runs! JD

I'm running the Flaming River main disconnect switch in my Omega, with the long aluminum rod. I mounted the switch's base to the trunk, and ran the rod through the tailpanel.

The heat must've gotten through my brain, when I installed it, after realizing that I had drilled through a mint (rare) tailpanel.

Its a phyiscal change on a metal surface, it can be fixed back to as new.

Unfortunately: The outside of the tailpanel is plastic.

Alright epoxy instead of welds. That's something new learned to day, but I've only owned 68-72 x-bodys. I like the smaller 1/4 windows.
